The restoration of the stone farmhouse was absolutely stunning, creating spacious and brightly lit rooms that were jaw-dropping. The enclosed garden with comfortable outdoor furniture was a super place to relax. Our host Laurent was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was mind-blowing. The breakfast included was a delicious French feast, with fresh ingredients and homemade treats. The room itself was spacious and beautifully renovated, with modern furnishings that created a cheerful atmosphere. The high-quality bathroom and great shower made us feel pampered. The comfortable queen-size bed and ample pillows provided a super night's sleep. The tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, and we were welcomed with a refreshing cold pear juice. The location was excellent for exploring the D-Day sites and the nearby hiking trails. We were able to easily visit the American Cemetery and Port en Bessin, and the property had plentiful parking. All in all, a truly amazing stay in a beautiful setting with top-notch hospitality. Highly recommended!

Le Clos Saint Jean
During my recent business trip, my director selected Le Clos Saint Jean as our accommodation option. I must say, the decision was spot on. Set amidst the picturesque village of Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes, this charming hotel offers a range of features that made my stay truly enjoyable. The sunbeds in the courtyard were a favorite spot among the guests, ideal for unwinding and soaking up the sun's warmth. It was a pleasure to relax in those comfortable loungers after a long day of meetings and appointments.
The wifi could have been a little stronger in our double room at the end, but for the rest, it was perfect!

During my recent travels, I had the opportunity to stay at Le Clos Saint Jean in Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes. Although my stay was only for transit purposes, I found two features of this property to be particularly convenient. the hotel is located just 40 km from the nearest airport, making it easily accessible for those arriving or departing by air. This proximity to the airport saved me valuable time and ensured a smooth transition to and from the hotel. the accommodation itself was situated only 32 km from the airport, further enhancing the convenience factor. This close proximity allowed me to quickly settle into my room and unwind after a long day of travel.
While this was not a fault of the property, I must admit that I was taken aback by the limited dining options in the area.

This hotel is located in a beautiful setting, amidst the most important historical area, and only a short walk to a small but lovely beach. the room was nice and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. the service was really good, with a friendly and attentive host. breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked bread, homemade jams and yogurts. Some rooms had a beautiful garden view and there was a nice garden to walk around.
The Wi-Fi signal was unstable, which made it hard to get some work done.

Location: The hotel was close to a beautiful beach and the Normandy WWII sites which were quite amazing to visit. The quiet surroundings were what we needed to relax our minds far from the city noise and chaos. Activities: The hotel offered a few activities, which was enjoyed but not quite what we expected during this festive period. The community kitchen was a lifesaver, and we were thankful for that, it was great cooking meals for ourselves.
Staff Availability: During the xmas period, there seemed to be only a few staff who were not frequently available, we were not attended to as quickly as possible, maybe because they were short-staffed. Room Quality: The room was not quite what we expected, it was smaller and outdated.
